If you want to Buy an item in the store in most cases all you have to do is bring it to the counter and pay for it, we accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, & Discover Card. We DO NOT accept American Express Card.
Buying A Firearm at Flying Cloud Trading Company is a simple process that can take as little as fifteen minutes. If you are wanting to purchase a firearm you will need to fill out the proper paperwork (Form 4473) for the State of Oregon and BATF background check. Though they take your firearm and personal information there is no gun registration in the State of Oregon. You will need to have certain things with you when you are buying a firearm:

• Identification With Current Address (Drivers License, Concealed Handgun License, State ID Etc.)
• IF you are a Resident Immigrant you will need your ID, Immigration Card, & 3 Months of Proof of Residence.
• Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card to Pay for Your Purchase, Including the Oregon State Fee of $10.00

IF any of the following statements are true to your situation you are not eligible to buy a firearm:

• Currently Under the umbrella of a Restraining Order
• Have ANY Felony Convictions that have not been Lifted or Expunged
• Have ANY Violent Misdemeanors
• Officially Renounced Your Citizenship
• Been Dishonorably Discharged from the Military
• Have a Non Valid ID (Expired, Wrong Address, No Photo etc.)

Selling To Flying Cloud Trading Company

Flying Cloud takes trade in's or sometimes outright purchases goods from our customers. Knives, Firearms, Black powder stuff, Supplies and Accessories. Flying Cloud will evaluate the desirability & value of your goods and determine what we are willing to pay you for the items in question.

If you are selling or trading in a firearm you will need to have proper identification and sign the gun buyback book. We will also check the serial numbers of the firearm in question to make sure that it isn't stolen or double numbered somewhere. This is not an implication that you are a dishonest patron. However with the way gun laws are in Oregon it is possible that you could have ended up with a stolen weapon haphazardly.

When we book firearms for value we use the Kelly Blue Book of Gun Values. Guns that are in 100% condition are new in the box unfired or unopened. Very few firearms are above 80% condition when they come in to us. We will give you a fair blue book value of your firearm, then we will make an offer to purchase it, typically we will want to make at least $75.00 on the sale for handling the paperwork and for any time that it may spend in the store before it sells.
